Ellen Sampson is a member of the Employment Litigation and Counseling practice group. An MSBA Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist, she has represented public and private sector employers in many administrative and arbitration proceedings, and she has litigated contract, tort and statutory employment law claims at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts.

Fred Morris is the former chair of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Product Liability and Tort Litigation practice group. While a significant portion of his practice has concerned tort and commercial litigation involving manufactured products, he also has been lead counsel in employment, patent licensing, contract, ERISA, medical malpractice, franchise, and civil rights litigation.

David Kelley devotes most of his practice to representing lenders in a wide variety of credit transactions, including construction and term commercial real estate loans, affordable housing loans, revolving and asset-based loans, letter-of-credit transactions and workouts. His clients include national and state banks, insurance companies, investment banks and municipal agencies.

Sidney Kaplan is a member of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Estate Planning group. He advises individuals and businesses across all areas of estate, tax, charitable, trust, business planning and estate administration.
Until 2012, Sid was a trustee of the Minnesota Medical Foundation and served as secretary and on the foundation’s executive committee.
