Job Opportunity Building Zones - Tax Incentives Lend a Hand to Economically Depressed Areas of Greater Minnesota
Although the State of Minnesota has consistently ranked high in economic vitality among its sister states, due in part to the business boom in the Twin Cities, there remains a need to spark business growth outside of the metro area. The enactment in 2003 of Job Opportunity Building Zone legislation (“JOBZ”) in Minnesota hopes to answer the call.
