Creditors' Rights
Contacts
We have an active and diverse practice group handling matters of bankruptcy, creditors' rights, financial restructuring, workouts and reorganization of financially distressed businesses. Our attorneys have substantial experience representing debtors in all types of bankruptcy proceedings, including representation of clients in bankruptcy court in Chapter 11 reorganization and in Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings. Our financial reorganizations and bankruptcy litigation practice experience includes automatic lift stay motions, preference actions, confirmation issues, multiparty bankruptcy litigation, appellate practice, intellectual property, jurisdictional issues and temporary and/or preliminary injunction relief. To avoid the expense and psychological trauma associated with formal bankruptcy proceedings, we frequently orchestrate "private workouts" between debtors and creditors.
Leonard, Street and Deinard attorneys provide advice and consultation to lending institutions and other secured creditors dealing with borrowers or other parties facing serious financial difficulty or bankruptcy.
