The American College of Real Estate Lawyers is the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers
Leonard, Street and Deinard shareholder David W. Kelley was recently elected as a fellow of the exclusive American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
ACREL, admission to which is by invitation only, recognizes lawyers for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law, as well as for their contributions to the real estate and legal professions through their practices, legal writing and public speaking. Kelley is just one of 20 new members selected for admission to ACREL in 2012.
Kelley has been a shareholder at Leonard, Street and Deinard for more than 20 years. He represents lenders in a wide variety of credit transactions, including construction and term commercial real estate loans, affordable housing loans, revolving and asset-based loans, letter-of-credit transactions and workouts. His practice also includes the representation of developers, purchasers, sellers, owners and tenants of commercial real estate.
Kelley is also a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is a Minnesota State Bar Association Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist. Other recognition includes being named as one of America’s Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA and being named among The Best Lawyers in America.
