MINNEAPOLIS (August 10, 2011)—Leonard, Street and Deinard shareholder Jannelle Steger Combs has been named among North Dakota's "40 Under 40" by North Dakota Business Watch, a publication of the Bismarck Tribune.
Combs is ranked among an elite group of North Dakotans under age 40 who are considered "up-and-coming" business and community leaders.
She was selected for her professional achievements and community contributions, including her current role as a shareholder in Leonard, Street and Deinard's energy law practice; her past work as a city prosecutor, solo law practitioner and chief deputy clerk of the North Dakota Supreme Court; and her volunteer work as a public speaking and debate coach.
Combs joined the firm's Bismarck office when it opened earlier this year. The Bismarck office is the firm's fifth location nationwide and the fourth in the Upper Midwest. The firm has served clients in North Dakota for more than 20 years.
Working with her energy clients, Combs provides drilling title examinations, advising on title (ownership) rights and preparing drilling, division, mortgage and acquisition title opinions. Prior to joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Combs was principal partner of Steger Law Office in Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota. A graduate of the University of North Dakota Law School, she is admitted to practice in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wyoming.
