Leonard, Street and Deinard shareholder Robert Smith has been elected Treasurer of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Construction Law Section.

The section comprises attorneys practicing in all areas of construction law, both plaintiff and defense counsel in commercial and residential construction. The section also has a legislative subcommittee that monitors state and national legislation affecting the practice of construction law.

Rob, who previously served as section Secretary, will begin his new role July 1, 2010.
