September 24, 2009

Leonard, Street and Deinard today announced that litigator Anh Le Kremer has joined the firm as a shareholder.

"We are delighted that Anh has joined our litigation practice," said Leonard, Street and Deinard president Lowell Stortz. "She is an extraordinarily capable litigator who brings rich diversity of experience that will expand the range and depth of services and support we can offer our clients."

Before joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Kremer was a partner in the Minneapolis firm of Holstein Kremer, where her experience ranged from litigating complex business disputes to drafting software licensing agreements and counseling employers on difficult employee-related issues.

Kremer holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Minnesota and earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, where she was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review. Born in Vietnam, raised in Beinette, Italy, and later residing in Rochester, Minnesota, Kremer considers herself a global citizen with an avid interest in global business issues. Throughout her law practice, Kremer has represented Minnesota businesses embroiled in litigation and arbitration in foreign markets, as well as in federal district court in Minnesota and other jurisdictions, including advising clients doing business in the People's Republic of China and in Hong Kong.

Kremer is an active and high-profile member of the Minnesota legal community. For each of the past five years, she has been nominated by her peers and recognized as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Minnesota chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is also a circuit vice president for the Federal Bar Association at the national level. In addition, Kremer has served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, where she taught advanced advocacy and legal practicum, and has been a mentor with the Page Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage Minnesota's youth of color in post-secondary education.

"Leonard, Street and Deinard is simply a great place to work with a great culture," said Kremer. "I was attracted to the firm's outstanding commitment to client service and to each other. They are a full-service firm and can compete for and successfully represent the largest and most complex clients in the full spectrum of legal matters. I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues and adding to their strong record of success."
