Leonard, Street and Deinard Elects Marcia A. Stanford Shareholder of the Firm

Leonard, Street and Deinard has announced that Marcia A. Stanford has been elected a shareholder of the firm. Stanford is an attorney in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, where she focuses her practice on energy law.

Stanford earned her law degree from William & Mary School of Law and bachelor’s degree, with distinction, from University of Virginia. Prior to practicing law, Marcia was a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice from 1982 to 1983. She joined Leonard, Street and Deinard in 2001.

Stanford has extensive experience advising clients from various segments of the electric power and natural gas industries with respect to issues and related implications for those clients arising under the Federal Power Act, the Public Utility Holding Company Act, the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, the Natural Gas Act and the Natural Gas Policy Act. Her experience extends to both regulatory and transactional matters.
