Dominic J. Cecere and Dan Oberdorfer, both shareholders in Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Employment Law practice, have been named among 2007’s Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer.
Dominic and Dan were recognized for their work in 2007 representing the St. Paul Pioneer Press, helping it achieve a favorable decision protecting its proprietary computer information and ordering its former publisher, Par Ridder, to cease work for one year at the rival Minneapolis Star Tribune. The case made headlines from the Wall Street Journal to the New York Times and was named the No. 5 news item among Editor & Publisher’s top 10 news-industry headlines of the year.
