Leonard, Street and Deinard was mentioned in the article, "Local firms sponsor Equal Justice Works fellowships," published in the October 8, 2007 issue of Minnesota Lawyer.
The firm joined the family of Hyman Edelman in sponsoring an Equal Justice Works fellowship for Emily Teplin, a recent graduate of Yale Law School. During the fellowship, Teplin will focus on and advocate for equal treatment of the hearing impaired community in the criminal justice system. Equal Justice Works fellowships are intended to provide opportunities for law students to work in the public service arena.
