Leonard, Street and Deinard Expands National Energy Practice With Addition of Robert C. Fallon in Washington, D.C., Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 13, 2006) – Leonard, Street and Deinard is pleased to announce the expansion of its energy practice with the hire of Robert C. Fallon, who joins as a Shareholder in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Fallon, a former Senior Counsel to the Chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and a nationally recognized energy lawyer, focuses his practice on representing electric and natural gas utilities and power plant owners in regulatory, litigation and antitrust matters before federal and state administrative agencies and appellate courts.

Fallon began his legal career at the FERC, where he held a variety of positions including Senior Counsel to former FERC Chair Elizabeth Moler, as well as an attorney in the Litigation and Rulemaking divisions. He was also previously Of Counsel at two Washington, D.C.- based law firms, Howrey & Simon and Dickstein Shapiro. He also worked for eight years on budget and tax matters for the Kentucky General Assembly. Fallon received his legal and undergraduate degrees from the University of Louisville.
