Leah Weaver, recipient of an Equal Justice Works fellowship sponsored by Leonard, Street and Deinard, was featured in the October 3, 2005, issue of Minnesota Lawyer. Leah, a 2005 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, recently began a two-year fellowship at Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis, where she focuses on enforcing a state law designed to prevent equity stripping. Allen Saeks, senior shareholder and longtime member of the Equal Justice Works board of directors, also was quoted.
