Todd Noteboom is the chair of Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Financial Services and Class Action Litigation practice group. A shareholder at the firm, member of the firm’s Board of Directors, and chair of the firm’s Business Development Committee, Todd practices principally in the areas of complex business and class action litigation, with particular emphasis in the areas of securities litigation/arbitration and financial services litigation.
Todd also represents companies and individuals in SEC and other regulatory investigations and proceedings, and has led internal investigations of public companies. He is a frequent speaker on securities, class action and other complex litigation topics.
Todd has been recognized by many third party publications for his achievements. Experience
Todd’s practice is national in scope. In recent years, he has served as lead or co-lead trial counsel in cases venued in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Todd has considerable experience defending companies in class action litigation, and was selected to handle the national class action litigation of one of the largest financial services companies in the country.
Todd also represents a small number of companies as plaintiffs. He recently represented a large, publicly-held telecom company in a substantial claim arising from investments in Auction Rate Securities. That case settled on the eve of trial for more than $50 million. Todd and the firm are currently representing several clients in connection with 9-figure losses arising from investments in RMBS, CMBS and other mortgage-backed securities.
