Tom Cuthbert is an associate in the firm’s Construction group. Tom is accredited as a LEED® Green Associate, and his practice includes construction defect claims and breach of contract claims. Tom also provides pro bono legal services through the Leonard, Street and Deinard Legal Clinic and the Volunteer Lawyers Network.
While in law school, Tom served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marilyn J. Kaman at the Hennepin County District Court. He was also a student teaching assistant, a research assistant and a leader of the school’s structured study group program. Tom was honored with the school’s CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing, Legal Advocacy, Restorative Justice and Torts.
Before attending law school, Tom worked as a relationship manager for Capital One Financial, as a training and development specialist for Jabil Circuit and as a change management analyst for Accenture. Prior to that, Tom worked nine seasons as a wild land firefighter, including time spent as a sawyer on a regional hotshot crew and as a crew boss directing fire suppression strategy and tactics for district fire crews.
