Theresa Corona focuses her practice in Employee Benefits and Compensation. She counsels clients regarding health care reform, cafeteria plans, wellness plans, privacy rules, qualified retirement plans (including 401(k) and pension plans), stock option and phantom stock plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, payroll and fringe benefits issues (including nonresident alien taxation), Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation audits, and severance and employment agreement negotiation and drafting. In both 2009 and 2010, Theresa was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers®-Rising Stars. In addition, she has been named among The Best Lawyers in America in the area of employee benefits law.

Prior to joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Theresa was employed as an associate in the employee benefits and executive compensation department of a large law firm in Chicago, and later with the tax department at Indiana University, working primarily on nonresident alien and payroll taxation issues.
