Nathan Endrud has a broad practice, providing counsel to clients on litigative, transactional, and regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on the energy industry. He regularly represents clients in litigation before state and federal administrative agencies and courts and provides counsel on compliance issues concerning the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other agencies. Nathan has closely monitored the CFTC’s implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act, assisting clients in commenting on proposed derivatives trading rules and advising them of the rules’ implications. He has recently begun representing clients in contested hearings before the North Dakota Industrial Commission, Oil and Gas Division. Nathan also regularly helps clients prepare agreements to complete transactions and develop major energy projects.
Prior to law school, Nathan worked as a lead product development engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt at Trane, a leading manufacturer of commercial air conditioners.
