Mark Weitz focuses his practice on general corporate law, finance and securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients in activities such as acquisitions or dispositions of business units, mergers, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, financing transactions, and private and public offerings.
Mark completed the second-largest initial public offering in Minnesota history. He is recognized as one of America’s Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA and has been selected for inclusion in Minnesota Super Lawyers® for the past 15 years. Mark has also been named among The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of corporate law and securities law, and in 2011 was named the Best Lawyers’ Securities/Capital Markets “Lawyer of the Year” in Minnesota.
Prior to joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Mark was an associate with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in New York from 1981 to 1983.
