Laurie Glapa is an associate in Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Intellectual Property practice, focusing on technology transfers and intellectual property licensing. She also practices in intellectual property litigation, helping clients enforce their intellectual property rights and defending them against claims brought by others. She also provides pro bono legal services through the Leonard, Street and Deinard Legal Clinic, representing clients in housing, immigration and family law matters.
At the University of Iowa College of Law, Laurie served as chairperson of the Moot Court Board and was named Best Advocate in the 2010 Van Oosterhout-Baskerville Appellate Advocacy Competition. Prior to law school, Laurie worked as a research assistant in the macroeconomic research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
