Practice Areas
Lara Glaesman represents clients in a multitude of bankruptcy and commercial litigation scenarios. She typically represents secured and unsecured creditors, equipment lessors, real property owners, financial institutions, special servicers, unsecured creditor committees, trustees and business owners. Her practice includes working with creditors in all stages of the debt restructuring and recovery process, including defaults, workouts and bankruptcy. Additionally, Lara represents clients in collateral recovery, real estate foreclosures, receiverships, commercial litigation, lease defaults and evictions, equipment leasing, and all aspects of the bankruptcy process.
Before practicing law, Lara clerked for three years for the Honorable Gregory F. Kishel, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. Additionally, Lara served as an intern for the Honorable William Houston Brown, Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Tennessee (retired).
In 2006, Lara was selected as one of fifteen Up & Coming Attorneys by Minnesota Lawyer magazine. Lara has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
