Jenna Bettes is a member of the firm’s Private Business Group, where she focuses on helping business owners and families structure and manage their entities, and plan for the disposition of assets through the use of a variety of business and estate planning tools. Jenna’s work includes the preparation of business formation and governance documents, wills, trusts and other related documents.
Representing closely held businesses, family businesses, nonprofit entities and private foundations, Jenna also has experience with private offerings, mergers & acquisitions, contract disputes, trademarks, copyrights, brand management, franchise law and social media compliance. She especially enjoys working with entrepreneurs and small business owners to preserve family and business wealth and implement succession-planning strategies.
Jenna has a certificate in dispute resolution from the Dispute Resolution Institute at Hamline University School of Law and is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
During law school, Jenna served as a student-attorney volunteer at Chrysalis/Tubman and as a law clerk in the areas of family law and estate planning.
