Ed Caldie provides creative insight and practical reasoning to creditors and other business owners primarily in the context of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Ed enjoys identifying client goals and reconciling them with the unique scenarios presented by each case. In the past year, Ed has effectively represented the interests of business owners, corporations, financial institutions, special servicers, trustees, governmental entities and other secured and unsecured creditors in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes and negotiations.
Ed started his legal career in Washington D.C. with an internationally renowned litigation firm where he gained valuable experience in the areas of banking litigation, corporate internal investigations, environmental litigation, securities fraud and bankruptcy. Ed returned to the Midwest with his family in August 2008, and has since focused his practice on representing a broad range of clients in the bankruptcy context.
