Cate Heaven is a corporate attorney practicing in our St. Cloud and Minneapolis, Minnesota, offices. Cate provides general counsel services to private and public companies, as well as advising clients on a wide range of business issues including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, compliance matters, and intellectual property.  Cate also assists emerging companies with formation, business planning and financing matters.  Cate is a member of our Private Business Group and is involved in the Corporate Securities and Intellectual Property practices.

Cate acquired business counseling experience in her former roles as general counsel for two different publicly traded companies in the industries of medical device, retail franchising and equipment leasing.  In those roles, she managed all the legal issues for the companies she represented and developed the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice with a strong client-focused perspective.
