Aaron’s practice focuses on providing general counsel services to private and family owned companies, and advising business clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, technology, privacy and intellectual property. Aaron’s engagements range from representing start-up companies in formation, choice of entity and financing to assisting private equity groups evaluate and structure strategic acquisitions. Aaron’s industry focus includes medical, dental and professional practices, private equity and venture capital, manufacturing, online and Internet-based companies, and privacy compliance. Aaron is recognized as a Certified Information Privacy Professional through The International Association of Privacy Professions.
Aaron’s representative transactions include acquisitions in manufacturing, online technology, sports and entertainment, and information technology. He also regularly represents entrepreneurs and private companies in connection with organizational documents and shareholder agreements, manufacturing arrangements, joint ventures, management buy-outs and online regulatory compliance.
Aaron is involved in many community activities including serving on the Board for the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity, serving on the Board of the Sartell/St. Stephen Education Foundation and is a Member of the St. Cloud Rotary Club. He has taught introductory legal courses as an adjunct professor at St. Cloud State University, has been a lecturer for Minnesota CLE on Choice of Entity and is a Discussion Leader for the Anderson Center Negotiation Forum. In 2007, Aaron was named among Central Minnesota’s “Top Five Business Leaders Under 40” by the St. Cloud Times and ROI Central Minnesota magazine. In addition, he has been recognized by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine as a Minnesota Rising Star.
