Through our Scholars program, Leonard, Street and Deinard offers a comprehensive scholarship and professional development program to all four of Minnesota’s law schools: Hamline University School of Law, University of Minnesota Law School, University of St. Thomas School of Law and William Mitchell College of Law.
This unique program, the only one sponsored by a Twin Cities law firm, combines career-building opportunities, along with financial assistance, to deliver a distinct advantage over other scholarship initiatives. Each academic year, 12 diverse students participate in our program and receive:
- Annual tuition assistance
- Mentoring with a practicing attorney within the firm
- Opportunities to network with attorneys and Diversity Scholars past and present
To celebrate the year and enhance the overall experience, we hold an annual networking dinner for deans, school representatives, attorneys from the firm and alumni scholars to meet, mingle and connect.
